All the scenary of this pictorial series are current views; belong to the early years of the century, with the characteristic that, in essence, little different from those contemplated Unamuno. They are mostly urban and recognizable silhouettes frames in buildings, its towers, bridges and especially in its light and color.

All the scenary of this pictorial series are current views; belong to the early years of the century, with the characteristic that, in essence, little different from those contemplated Unamuno. They are mostly urban and recognizable silhouettes frames in buildings, its towers, bridges and especially in its light and color. They are not landscapes aged in their angular by the melancholy memory; but the same old places to which time has added new experiences.
These places that shook Unamuno did not only correspond to his aesthetic design, which was also that of his generation. There was something else. They all carry, in addition to his message of historical memory, an ability to communicate with people over time.
In this sample, where visions of landscapes of Salamanca and Bilbao are mixed, joint contemplation of shapes, colors and disparate lights, is a proof that the coexistence of distinct landscapes is possible when spoken with sincerity. Both gain in contrast. Gray and gold are the result of a partnership between two radically different environments, they get to excite one person.
Before it was Don Miguel. Now it can be someone able to open the eyes not only to the aesthetic reality, but also to other existential and historical reality, with the same internal rebellion and the same beauty in his free flight through the sky thinking, fulfilling his promise:
“I will return, not with my freedom, which is worthless, but with yours.”
